West Point Summer Sandlot
Presented by PennWest University
Where the Kids Make the Rules.
Join us for a relaxed, unstructured baseball experience designed just for the kids. The Summer Sandlot is a player-led program that gives young athletes the chance to enjoy the game on their terms—no coaches, no pressure—just baseball for the love of the game. Players create the lineups, make the calls, and decide how the game is played. It’s summer baseball the way it was meant to be: fun, free, and flexible.
Who Can Play?
Open to baseball players entering or currently in Minors or Majors divisions.
Minors report to Don Thomas Field
Majors report to Independence Health Field
Schedule
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. July 22 – August 21.
There are no rain dates.
Cancellations will be shared via email and the West Point Little League Facebook page.
Registration is Free

Volunteer Help Needed
Due to overlapping summer Little League tournaments, many of our coaches may be unavailable. We need your help to make Sandlot successful. We’re asking current West Point Little League volunteers (coaches, assistant coaches, team parents, etc.) to consider helping at one or more Sandlot nights.
We need help:
Organizing teams
Selecting team captains
Overseeing safety and general flow of play
This is still a player-led experience—but your presence ensures it runs smoothly and safely. If you’re able to help, please sign-up as an assistant coach when registering your child.
